This one week Floristry Foundation workshop covers the basic elements of floristry including;
introduction to floristry in the UK
tools and equipment
preparation and conditioning
container selection and care
design principles, colour, texture and balance
buying flowers, foliage and sundries
visit to Edinburgh wholesaler
low table arrangements
high table arrangements
introduction to wedding flowers
We can plan further training to suit your particular needs and interests.
You will develop a creative eye as well as practical skills, which will allow you to re-create what you have learned time again in your own home, or to serve as a firm foundation for a full or part-time career in floristry.

Day 3 Visit to floristry wholesaler

Day 4 Low table arrangement
Day 5 Introduction to bridal flowers: corsages, buttonholes, bridal bouquet.
All workshops are based at our North Berwick premises and all visits and transport to and from off-site locations are organised by The School.
